Within the framework of the 16th Cooperation Forum between Central Asia and the Republic of Korea, a concert of art masters of Turkmenistan dedicated to the song and musical culture of the countries of Central Asia and Korea was held on the stage of the National Music and Drama Theater named after Magtymguly on Tuesday.
The concert opened with the song “My Fatherland” performed by People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Sahydursun Hojakova and the State Choir.
Further in the evening program, Turkmen artists performed popular songs and dances of the peoples of Turkmenistan, Korea, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Tajikistan.
Vocalists such as Ayna Seyitkuliyeva, Dovran Shammyev, Mansur Sharipov, Leili Mamedova, Serdar Haydarov, Begench Charyev and others took part in the concert; dance groups “Nazli”, “Mengli”, “Ashgabat”, dance group of the State Specialized Music School of Turkmenistan, folklore groups “Serpay” and “Lachyn”.
At the end of the concert, People's Artist of Turkmenistan Akmuhammet Hanov and Honored Artist Chinar Jumayeva performed the “Song of Friendship”.
The evening was hosted by Yunus Allanazarov and Ogultach Altymyradova.
