The concert dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Children’s Music School № 1 was held in Ashgabat at the Cultural and Business Center of the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan.
More than a hundred young pupils of the school performed in the concert, teachers and mentors helped them, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Famous works of domestic and foreign composers were performed. The school orchestra under the direction of Guvanchmuhammed Saparliyev performed works by Rejep Rejepov, Telman Gadzhiyev, Georgy Sviridov. A group of violinists “Altyn Serpay” performed harmoniously under the direction of Anzhelika Yalkapova.
A pleasant surprise for everyone was the performance of the graduate of the Children’s Music School №1, honored artist of Turkmenistan Vladimir Mkrtumov. He performed one of the most famous works of Franz Liszt “Dreams of Love”.
There were many graduates of the school of different years in the hall; parents, friends and colleagues came to congratulate classmates and teachers.
As the People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Gulnar Nuryeva told the publication, the years of study at the Children’ Music School №1 left many pleasant memories in her memory. She studied piano with the teacher Natalya Vladimirovna Mazharova.
