During a video conference between representatives of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the German travel company NUMA GmbH, the prospects for cooperation in the field of tourism were discussed, writes the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.
The German company expressed interest in organizing tours to Turkmenistan and promoting the country as an attractive tourist destination in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
In the format of a working meeting, Director of NUMA GmbH Dalia Altuntepe spoke about the company’s activities in the European tourism market and expressed its intention to develop partnerships with Turkmen tour operators.
The company specializes in organizing tours to Türkiye, Central Asia and the Balkans.
Deputy Head of the Tourism Department Gulshat Bakiyeva presented the tourism potential of Turkmenistan, paying special attention to historical and ecological tourism, as well as recreation opportunities on the shores of the Caspian Sea in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone.
During a constructive exchange of views, the parties noted the relevance of developing the tourism industry in the region. A mutually beneficial partnership will permit us to develop new tourist routes to attract foreign travelers.
