We previously reported that the Days of Culture of Turkmenistan will be held in the American city of Albuquerque, a sister city of Ashgabat, from October 23 to 24.
In this regard, a large creative delegation of Turkmenistan went to the United States of America to participate in the event.
According to the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the delegation included representatives of the Ministry of Culture, the hyakimliks of the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, the State News Agency, the Magtymguly Institute of Language, Literature and National Manuscripts of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan, the television and radio channel “Turkmen Owazy”, artists from leading drama theaters, museum and library workers, singers and dancers of folklore and ethnographic ensembles “Dokmachylar”, “Ashgabat”, “Ahal owushgunleri”.
The Days of Culture of Turkmenistan in Albuquerque are timed to coincide with the 300th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi. Within the framework of the cultural event, concerts by masters of art and creative groups of Turkmenistan will be held, and a creative meeting dedicated to Magtymguly Fragi will be held at the University of New Mexico.
Let us remind that a similar cultural event was held in Albuquerque ten years ago in connection with the celebration of the 290th anniversary of Magtymguly Fragi.
