Today in Ashgabat at the “Arkadag” hotel, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, who arrived to attend the trilateral summit. This is reported by the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The heads of state discussed issues of expanding bilateral cooperation in a number of topical areas of interaction and exchanged views on international and regional policy issues of mutual interest.
The Presidents expressed confidence that the upcoming trilateral summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan would give a powerful impetus to the development of regional partnership.
