A meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek intergovernmental commission on border demarcation was held in Bukhara

The meeting of the working groups of the Joint Turkmen-Uzbek Intergovernmental Commission on the issues of delimitation and demarcation of the interstate border was held in Bukhara. It is reported by uzdaily.uz.

In the period from January 16 to 21, the parties discussed preparations for a joint meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission on the delimitation and demarcation of the state border between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.

In this context, draft normative-legal and technical documents for border demarcation and a schedule of meetings of working groups scheduled for this year have been agreed upon.

Let us remind that the previous meeting of the Turkmen-Uzbek intergovernmental commission was held in December 2019 in Karshi (Uzbekistan).
