A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Singapore with the Ambassador of Turkmenistan

The other day, in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Singapore, a meeting was held between the Ambassador of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea and Singapore B. Durdyev with the Minister of the Prime Minister's Office Mohamad Maliki bin Osman.

The parties discussed issues on strengthening and developing cooperation between the two countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.

Ambassador B. Durdyev spoke about the large-scale events planned for the year “The Fount of Wisdom of Magtymguly Fragi”, as well as the process of successful implementation of the second phase of the project for the construction of the “smart” city of Arkadag.

The parties noted the need to strengthen trade and economic partnership and named the fuel and energy complex, transport and logistics, chemical industry, industry, agriculture, environmental issues and environmental protection as promising aspects.

The Minister thanked the Turkmen side for the support provided in promoting the candidacy of the Republic of Singapore in international organizations, expressing readiness to continue to contribute to strengthening mutual relations and cooperation with Turkmenistan, the source notes.
