A meeting was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan with the Counselor of the South African Embassy in Kazakhstan

On Thursday, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Vepa Hajiyev met with the political adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of South Africa in Kazakhstan, Peace Bardolph Kennedy.

The parties discussed the current state of cooperation between Turkmenistan and South Africa, as well as prospects for further interaction in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres. Active interaction between the two countries within the framework of international organizations, including the UN, was stated.

The parties confirmed their readiness to intensify bilateral relations, hold inter-Ministry of Foreign Affairs consultations and improve the legal framework of both countries, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan reports.
