A native of Turkmenistan became the head of the WHO office in Russia

Dr. Batyr Berdyklychev began fulfilling his duties as a representative of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Russia, TASS reports citing the press service of the representative office.

Batyr Berdyklychev was born in Turkmenistan. Previously, he worked at the WHO Regional Office for Europe and also headed WHO country offices in the Republic of Belarus and Turkey, the source notes.
