Construction of a new complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in Turkmenabat is underway at an accelerated pace.
Construction of the university complex of buildings began in September last year, and completion and commissioning is planned for September 2026, Turkmenistan: Golden Age reports.
The complex consists of an administrative building, two educational buildings, six dormitories, a canteen with 1,000 seats, a library with 700 seats, a stadium, a sports hall and grounds, open and closed parking lots, a utility building and other technical premises.
Equipment for the new institute comes from the USA, Great Britain, Japan, Germany, Turkey and other countries of the world.
The construction contractor is the Nahal business entity, which built a multifunctional hospital, health-rehabilitation and educational complexes, a children’s health center “Bagtyyarlyk”, a library and a number of other facilities in the velayat.
