A new Head of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan appointed

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov relieved the Acting Chairman of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov of his post, the Information Program "Watan" of the Turkmen Television reported.

The Head of State appointed Toyly Myalikov as a new Head of the Central Bank, relieving him of the post of the Deputy Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan signed the relevant Decrees at a meeting dedicated to the appointment of heads of ministries and sectoral departments.

The new Head of the Central Bank Toyly Myalikov was appointed the Governor of the International Monetary Fund from Turkmenistan and the Governor of the Asian Development Bank from Turkmenistan. Previously, Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov combined these positions.

To recap, on March 20, after taking office as President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov accepted the resignation of the Government. On March 25, a new Cabinet of Ministers was formed.
