A new meat processing plant opened in Mary velayat of Turkmenistan

A new meat processing enterprise of the economic society Täze aý was opened in the Mary velayat of Turkmenistan. The plant is equipped with modern equipment from leading European and Turkish manufacturers, reports IIC.

The enterprise, the opening of which was timed to coincide with the 16th anniversary of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET), is located in the Mary etrap, Mary velayat. The production capacity of the new meat processing plant allows processing up to 500 heads of cattle and 1000 heads of small livestock in one technological cycle.

The opening of the enterprise was a significant event for the region. Participants of the opening ceremony got acquainted with the work of the new facility. In addition to the production workshops, there is a veterinary service on its territory to assess the health of animals.

The commissioning of the meat processing plant made it possible to create more than 100 new jobs in the Mary etrap. The enterprise is designed to promote the development of livestock farming and increase the level of food security in Mary velayat.
