A program of major cultural events for July has been approved in Turkmenistan

The program of major cultural events planned for July of this year was reviewed at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, chaired by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov using the digital system.

Deputy Chairperson of the Cabinet of Ministers B.Seyidova presented a report on this issue.As noted, all upcoming events are timed to coincide with the 35th anniversary of independence of the country and are held under the motto of 2026: Independent, neutral Turkmenistan the homeland of purposeful winged horses.

Throughout the month, cultural events entitled Milli mirasymyz dowamat dowam will be held, aimed at preserving and developing decorative and applied arts, crafts and national embroidery traditions.For citizens and guests of the country, educational excursions to historical and cultural monuments will be organised, as well as thematic conferences and meetings with leading archaeologists.

At the same time, the final rounds of the popular television competition for young performers Ýaňlan, Diýarym!will be held in the cities of Ashgabat and Arkadag, as well as in the Ahal, Balkan and Dashoguz velayats.

In addition, the final stage of the creative competition among handicraft masters Gülüň owadan!and an exhibition will take place.After hearing the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasised the special importance of holding large-scale celebrations during the anniversary year.

The head of state addressed specific instructions to the deputy-prime to ensure a high organisational and substantive level of all planned events.
