At the Serakhs terminal, located on the Iranian-Turkmen border, for the period from March 21, 2022 to February 19 this year, the highest volume of transit of rail cargo was registered.
As reports “Iran.ru”, with reference to the Iranian Ministry of Roads and Urban Development, a total of 737 000 tons of foreign goods were transported by rail through this terminal.
The Sarakhs border checkpoint is located 202 kilometers northeast of the capital of the province of Khorasan-Rezavi Mashhad and borders on Turkmenistan.
