As was reported earlier, the international festival “Handicraft and arts and crafts in the heritage of the peoples of the world” is being held in the Lebap velayat, the opening of which was yesterday.
In accordance with the extensive program of the forum, a scientific and practical conference dedicated to the theme of the festival was held today in the Lebap velayat library.
Delegations from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Türkiye, Iran, Latvia, and also representatives of all regions of Turkmenistan, the Department of Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, the state Academy of Arts and other departments of national culture and art of the country participated in the conference.
The conference has become a central platform for interethnic cooperation, exchange of experience and ideas.
Today the participants of the festival will also visit the Local History Museum of the Lebap velayat.
