A seminar on the implementation of international trade policy is being held in Ashgabat

A three-day seminar on the implementation of international trade policy is being held in Ashgabat.

The training was organized by the USAID Central Asia Trade Program with the support of the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, IIC reports.

The training is attended by specialists from the Ministry of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan, representatives of the Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, the Ministry of Trade and Foreign

Economic Relations, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Central Bank, the State Customs Service, the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry, the Ministry of Construction and Architecture, The Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Textile Industry, the Main State Service “Turkmenstandards” and the state concerns “Turkmenneft”, “Turkmengaz”, “Turkmenhimiya”.

The course is taught by expert, Doctor of Economics Miles Light from the University of Colorado, USA.

Training takes place in the format of interactive lectures and group sections.

Participants will be provided with popular trading models and extensive data sets to research and analyze trade and economic issues using computer simulations, the source said.
