The Chairman of Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov is expected with an official visit in the Russian Federation. It was reported by the Chairman of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matvienko during a telephone conversation with the head of this chamber of the Turkmen Parliament today.
As it was reported earlier, the Speaker of the Russian Parliament congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedovich with the award of the Order of Russia “For Merit to the Fatherland” IV degree, and also conveyed sincere wishes of health on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation the high rating was given to the established friendly relations between Turkmenistan and Russia and the current state of mutually beneficial strategic cooperation.
