The National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, held bilateral talks with Abdul Ghani Baradar, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Afghanistan for Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, the Afghan side emphasized that the good-neighborly relations between the two states are based on the commonality of cultural and spiritual values, as well as the close historical roots of the Turkmen and Afghan peoples.
Abdul Ghani Baradar emphasized that Turkmenistan’s peaceful foreign policy contributes to ensuring sustainable development in the region and expressed his sincere gratitude for the regular humanitarian assistance provided to Afghanistan by the Turkmen side.
