CJSC "Ashgabat City Telephone Network" from March 1, 2023 will reduce tariffs for using the Internet and at the same time increase the speed of connection to the network. The announcement appeared on the official website of the provider.
New home internet tariffs:
Subscribers who previously used the Internet at a speed of 150 kbps with a monthly subscription fee of 150 manat will be automatically transferred to a speed of 1 Mbps without changing the cost of the tariff (150 manat). Thus, the lowest service rate is 1 Mbps.
Owners of tariffs with a speed of 2 Mbps with a monthly subscription fee of 200 manat will be automatically transferred to a tariff plan with a monthly fee of 180 manat, but they will still have a connection speed of 2 Mbps.
If the subscriber has already paid 200 for March and later months at the early tariff, the billing system transfers the subscriber's balance to the 180 tariff, and credits the remaining amount to the advance deposit.
According to the information on the AGTS website, at present, the acceptance of relevant applications from subscribers wishing to switch to new tariff plans has begun.
