Aliyev replaces Azerbaijani ambassador to Turkmenistan

Gismet Fizuli oglu Gezalov has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan. The corresponding Decree was signed today by President Ilham Aliyev, Azerbaijani media reported.

At the post of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gozalov replaced Gasan Sultan oglu Zeynalov, who headed the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in this Central Asian country since December 23, 2015 and was recalled from this position today by a presidential decree.
