All participants in the quarterfinal stage of the 2023 Asian Cup, which is taking place in Qatar, have become known.
On Wednesday, the final pair was formed by the national teams of Japan and Iran. In the 1/8 finals, the Japanese beat Bahrain with a score of 3:1, and the Iranians knocked Syria out of the tournament (2:1) in a penalty shootout.
