Croatia and Denmark tied with Portugal and Serbia respectively, securing second place in their groups and the last spots in the UEFA Nations League playoffs. The group stage of League A will end on Tuesday with Group 3 matches, where all spots were already allocated, RIA Sport reports.
The teams from Portugal, France, Germany and Spain advanced to the quarterfinals from the first places in their groups. The second places, in addition to the Croatians and the Danes, were taken by the teams from Italy and the Netherlands.
The draw for the quarter-finals will take place on November 22 in Nyon, Switzerland. The first quarter-final matches will be played on March 20, 2025, with the return matches on March 23. The final and the third-place match are scheduled for June 8. The current winners of the Nations League are Spain.
