Ambassador of Pakistan completes diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Ahmed Kurbanov met on Thursday with Pakistani Ambassador Ifran Ahmed, who is completing his diplomatic mission in Turkmenistan, reports the press service of the Turkmen Foreign Ministry.

As Kurbanov noted, during his work in Turkmenistan, the Pakistani diplomat made a great contribution to strengthening bilateral relations. Under his leadership, progress was made in the political and economic spheres, especially in energy projects such as the TAPI gas pipeline and the TAP power transmission line.

During the meeting, the parties also discussed prospects for further expansion of cooperation between the countries.

At the end of the conversation, Irfan Ahmed thanked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan for the support provided during his diplomatic mission.
