Ambassador of Turkmenistan completes diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan

Ambassador of Turkmenistan Mekan Ishanguliyev is completing his diplomatic mission in Azerbaijan, which began in July 2017. On Friday, he paid a farewell visit to the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, where he met with Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

As reports Trend with reference to the Azerbaijan Foreign Ministry, Jeyhun Bayramov thanked the Ambassador of Turkmenistan for his successful work in the name of developing friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries and wished him success in his new post.

The historical significance of the growing partnership and dialogue between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan in various formats, regular visits and high-level meetings, agreements reached on the Caspian Sea, and expanding cooperation was underlined.

The Ambassador of Turkmenistan expressed satisfaction with the relations between the two countries based on historical, cultural and ethnic unity. He noted that there is potential for further development of bilateral cooperation in political, economic, trade, transport and transit areas.

Let us remind that in early July, the diplomat was appointed by the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to the post of Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Türkiye (the city of Ankara), in connection with this, he completes his work in Azerbaijan.
