Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Russian Federation Batyr Niyazlyyev had a working visit to the Republic of Adygea on May 17-18, 2019.During the visit, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan held talks with the Head of the Republic of Adygea Murat Kumpilov.
The development of friendly and business relations, cultural and humanitarian cooperation were discussed during the meeting.
The sides expressed satisfaction with the positive development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Adygea in the social sphere, economy and humanitarian direction. Particular attention was paid to education. At present, hundreds of students from Turkmenistan are studying at the universities in Adygea.
In frames of the visit to the Maikop State Technological University, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan had a meeting with the Turkmen students, getting their education at the universities in Adygea. During the meeting, the students told about their study, living conditions and leisure time.
After the meeting, the delegation of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Russian Federation attended the 10th anniversary mini-football tournament among Turkmen students, getting education at the higher education institutions in Russia. The tournament was held at the Sports Palace of Yakub Koblev Adygea State University on May 17-18.
The sports event brought together the teams of nine Russian universities: the Armavir State Pedagogical University, Don State Technical University, Karachay-Cherkess State University, Ogarev Mordovia State University, North-Caucasus Federal University, North Ossetian State University, Southern Federal University, Maikop State Technological University and Adygea State University.
The teams of Maikop State Technological University Maykop State Technological University, Adygea State University and Ogarev Mordovia State University demonstrated the best results.
Diplomas and valuable prizes were awarded to the winners on behalf of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Russia.
The festive concert with the participation of students from Turkmenistan took place after the tournament.
