Yildyz hotel of the capital hosted the briefing organized by the Embassy of Romania to Turkmenistan. Website of the Foreign Ministry informs that the meeting was dedicated to the presentation of the Concept of chairing of Romania in the Council of European Union in the first half of 2019.
Representatives of foreign department of the country as well as diplomatic missions and representative of international organizations accredited in Ashgabat, mass media took part in the event organized by the Embassy of Romania to Turkmenistan.
Sorin Vasile Moldovan, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Romania to Turkmenistan made a speech where he told about the activities planned under the chairing of Romania in the Council of European Union. Activation of cooperation of the EU with the countries of Central Asia was outlined as one of important directions of coming work.
