On September 20, 2023, an event dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan was held in Ankara with the support of the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Türkiye and the Youth Council of the Turkic World.
The event was attended by representatives of the Turkmen and Turkish authorities, the public, science and culture, reported the press service of the Turkmen embassy.
Participants of the event were presented with reports on the achievements of Turkmenistan over the years of independence in various fields, as well as on the prospects for the development of Turkmen-Turkish relations. Particular attention was paid to the foreign policy of Turkmenistan, aimed at ensuring peace, stability and sustainable development in the region and the world.
During the event, the main priorities of bilateral cooperation in the political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres were discussed. The participants expressed confidence in the further strengthening of Turkmen-Turkish relations on the basis of friendship, good neighborliness and mutually beneficial cooperation.
