An exhibition of the achievements of European countries in the development and implementation of energy saving is held in Ashgabat

The traveling exhibition “Transition to renewable energy sources - the energy of the future” opened at the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

As “Turkmenistan: Golden Age” reports, the experience of European countries in the development and implementation of energy saving is presented here.

The exhibition is divided into five information boxes, which are equipped with interactive touch panels containing presentations of expert opinions and practices in the field of energy efficiency.

With the help of virtual reality glasses you can even immerse yourself in the world of the future.

The exhibition highlights the multi-level aspects, challenges and potential of the global energy transition from the perspective of society, politics, economics and science.

The exhibition is organized by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany together with the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Project manager Yasmin Deren says:

This exhibition started three years ago and has already visited Europe, Asia, the Persian Gulf states and Central Asian countries. In particular, we presented it in Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. We are very glad that it is now taking place in Ashgabat. After Turkmenistan, it will head to Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan.

You can visit the exhibition every day until June 25, except Sundays. Further, the exhibition will continue its work in the city of Mary, the source notes.
