An Inclusive Festival was held in Dashoguz

An Inclusive Festival was held in the city of Dashoguz under the motto “Dignity, freedom and justice for all.”

The festival was organized by the UN Human Rights Office in Central Asia and the UN Resident Coordinator's Office in Turkmenistan together with civil society organizations as part of a global initiative dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

During the festival, sports games and competitions were held, as well as cultural events with the participation of people with disabilities, including performances by members of the Society of the Blind and Deaf of Turkmenistan.

The event took place with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports of Turkmenistan.

The festival was aimed at the equal participation of people with disabilities in public life, in various sports, arts, and intellectual activities, the UN Office reported on social networks.
