ARETI International Group, one of Turkmenistan’s long-standing foreign partners in the oil and gas sector, became the bronze sponsor of the XXV “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” International Conference which starts on October 28.
ARETI International Group (before 2015 ITERA) was set up by Russian businessman Igor Makarov in 1992.
Its major lines of business are: investments in the oil and gas sectors (including natural gas, crude oil and other oil products, liquefied natural gas and petroleum gas), oil trading, engineering and design, power supply, real-estate development, manufacturing and deliveries of food products, and other.
Today, ARETI is composed of several dozens of subsidiaries and affiliated companies with business interests covering Turkmenistan, Switzerland, Russia, the CIS Countries and the Baltic States, the United States, Canada, Western Europe and Middle East countries.
In Turkmenistan, ARETI, headed by Igor Makarov, is engaged in Turkmenian hydrocarbons export deliveries to foreign markets and operates on Block 21 of the Turkmenian sector of the Caspian Sea shelf under the Production Sharing Agreement.
During the recent meeting with President of Turkmenistan, esteemed G.M. Berdymuhamedov, Igor Makarov confirmed that the Company intends to increase its partnership with Turkmenistan in the Fuel and Energy Complex.
The XXV “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan” International Conference will provide a platform for the participants to have substantive negotiations and discussions of prospects of mutually beneficial partnership.
