Ashgabat eco-activists cleaned up the area near Kel-ata

Over 50 people participated in the eco-campaign to clean up the area near Kel-ata, reports the publication “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.

The action, dedicated to the Earth Day, was organized by the European Union and the Society for the Protection of Nature of Turkmenistan.

Through the efforts of eco-activists about 100 kilograms of garbage were collected, notes the source.

A similar action was held on the shore of Geokdepe Lake last year.
