Ashgabat hosted an exhibition marking the 30th Anniversary of Turkmen-Malaysian oil and gas partnership

A specialized exhibition dedicated to the 30th anniversary of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Malaysia in the oil and gas industry has concluded its work at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.

The exhibition was organized within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Conference Turkmenistan Malaysia: 30 Years of Mutually Beneficial Cooperation in the Oil and Gas Industry.The exhibition presented the key achievements of the Turkmen-Malaysian partnership, modern technological solutions, and promising projects in the field of hydrocarbon exploration and production, offshore infrastructure, gas processing, oil and gas chemistry, digitalization, and the training of highly qualified personnel.

Among the participants were leading international companies PETRONAS, SLB (Schlumberger), Halliburton, Dragon Oil, Malaysia Petroleum Resources Corporation (MPRC) and Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering (MMHE), as well as state concerns, research institutes, and specialized educational institutions of Turkmenistan.

Against the backdrop of growing interest in the development of gas infrastructure and the diversification of energy markets, the event demonstrated Turkmenistan's commitment to strengthening international cooperation and attracting advanced technologies and investments into the oil and gas sector.
