1.Today, a two-day Special Conference of medical and sanitary institutions “Cooperation of member countries of the Non-Aligned Movement on preparedness and counteraction to emerging threats in the field of public health” began in Ashgabat.
The forum, organized at the initiative of Turkmenistan in partnership with the World Health Organization, is held in a hybrid format with the participation of international specialists, experts from UN partner agencies and representatives of medical and sanitary institutions of foreign countries.
2.During the 7th meeting of the Intergovernmental Turkmen-Turkish Commission on Economic Cooperation, partnership in the energy sector was discussed.In particular, the parties discussed in detail the prospects for supplies of Turkmen gas to Türkiye.
In this context, the relevance of the project for gas supplies from Turkmenistan to Türkiye through the territory of Iran was emphasized.The parties noted the high prospects of this project and agreed to begin negotiations in the near future at the level of heads of relevant departments and companies.
3.The height of the main New Year tree of Turkmenistan on the square of the “Alem” cultural and entertainment center in the Turkmen capital should be 43 meters.
Earlier last year, a tree of similar height in Turkmenistan was named the tallest in the entire CIS.At present time, in Ashgabat, with the help of New Year's toys and garlands, living Christmas trees have begun to be decorated, which will turn the Turkmen capital into a real winter magical city.
In addition to traditional New Year trees and illumination, various art objects dedicated to the coming New Year will be installed in the city.
4.About 40 thousand users have already been registered on the unified portal of public services of Turkmenistan e.gov.tm.Through the portal, citizens of Turkmenistan have convenient access to paying for utilities, submitting applications to government agencies and receiving certificates, purchasing tickets for public transport, an electronic library, an educational portal, an electronic appointment with a doctor, etc.
The site has also added the possibility of round-the-clock online access to up-to-date information about the weather in the cities of Turkmenistan - air temperature, atmospheric pressure, humidity, wind speed.

The meeting was held in Ashgabat and ended with a score of 2:1.Thanks to this victory, Yazkuli Hojageldyev's team scored 47 points and, three rounds before the finish, became unattainable for their pursuers.
Earlier, the “Arkadag” team also became the champion of Turkmenistan ahead of schedule for the first time in its history.Two clubs are vying for bronze medals in the tournament this season “Nebitchi” and “Ahal”.
8.A football tournament was held in the capital of Türkiye among embassies of different countries, dedicated to the International Day of Neutrality.Teams from the diplomatic missions of Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as Turkmen and foreign students studying at higher educational institutions in Türkiye, took part in the football competition organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in Türkiye.
The friendly mini-football tournament has become not only a real sports festival, but also a symbol of interstate friendship and good neighborliness.
