The Children’s Tennis Festival has started on the courts of the Ashgabat Olympic Village, reports the “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”.
Children and teenagers will compete in five age categories within three days from 14 to 16 April.
Within the framework of the festival the “Open Doors Day” was organized, where all who has a desire will be able to get acquainted with the game of tennis.
The Tennis Federation of Turkmenistan together with the Representative Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The purpose of this event, dedicated to World Health Day, is to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, and also to popularize tennis in the country.
