Ashgabat May Host Dialogue of Central Asian and Russian Women

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a telephone conversation with Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko on Tuesday. The Head of State proposed to consider the possibility of holding a meeting of the Dialogue of Women of Central Asia and Russia in Ashgabat.

The Turkmen Leader proposed holding the dialogue meeting on the sidelines of the Interparliamentary Forum of Central Asian Countries and Russia, scheduled to be held next May in Ashgabat, the official media of Turkmenistan reports.

In this regard, Berdimuhamedov and Matviyenko discussed the preparation and holding of the Interparliamentary Forum of Central Asian Countries and Russia, and also paid special attention to the further development of interparliamentary cooperation between Turkmenistan and Russia.

At the end of the conversation, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov congratulated Valentina Matvienko on the upcoming New Year and wished her good health and great successes in state activities.
