The capital of Turkmenistan was included in the list of 100 best places on Earth according to the popular Rough Guides.One of the most informative tourist guides in the world brings truly unique and unusual routes to the pages of its publication.

According to Rough Guides experts, in 2020 Ashgabat could become the city where you would like to return to again and again.

Ashgabat is described as “a shining lighthouse on the edge of the desert”, and this is not by accident, because the capital of Turkmenistan is included in the famous Guinness Book of Records as the most white-marble city in the world.

Many foreigners dream of visiting it and getting personally acquainted with the modern architectural splendor of the heart of Turkmenistan.

But one of those whose dream of an unforgettable trip has come true for the full 100% a resident of Norway Gunnar Garfors. The amateur traveler has twice visited 198 countries around the world, and was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the youngest traveler ranging the whole world.
