Currently, 220 students from Turkmenistan are studying at the Astrakhan State Technical University (ASTU).
The university plans to expand its partnership with Turkmenistan, thereby attracting more and more students from this country, according to the ASTU website.
The other day there was a meeting between the management of ASTU and the Consul of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan Gadam Ilamanov. During the meeting, areas for further cooperation were identified, including academic mobility, fisheries and the oil and gas industry.

The rector of ASTU Invited the leadership of universities of Turkmenistan to take part in the next General Assembly of the Association of Universities and Research Centers of the Caspian Countries.
