Australia opens borders to vaccinated tourists

Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison said, that the country's international borders, closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, will open from February 21, according to the Internet portal “Rossiyskaya Gazeta”.

According to the Prime Minister, all visa holders vaccinated against coronavirus will be able to enter the country. "You need to be vaccinated twice - this is the rule. We expect everyone to comply," Morrison said.

Earlier, Australia began a limited opening of borders with New Zealand and Singapore. The country's borders were closed due to the coronavirus pandemic almost two years ago.
