A draft "Regulations on licensing of aviation activities" has been developed in Turkmenistan.It was prepared jointly by the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the Ministry of Adalat (Justice) in accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On Licensing of certain types of Activities", Director General of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers Mammethan Chakiyev reported during a Government meeting today.
Having listened to the information, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the issues of the widespread deployment of modern methods into the sphere of management of the aviation sector, which is due to the realities of the time and is an integral factor in further improving the activities of state structures, taking into account the tasks set before them.
In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to strengthen control over ensuring the proper level of work of enterprises in this industry and compliance with a clear action plan.
Having ordered to keep under unremitting control the issues of improving licensing processes, the head of state addressed a number of specific instructions to the head of the Agency, including those related to the organization of cargo flights to foreign countries, the State Information Agency of Turkmenistan reports.
