Aydyn Gijeler and Inspur Develop AI Robot Supporting Turkmen Language

Turkmen company Aydyn Gijeler, in cooperation with China’s Inspur Group Co. Ltd., is developing an artificial intelligence-powered robot with support for the Turkmen language.

A prototype of the device was presented at a scientific conference titled “Turkmenistan — China: 20 Years of Strategic Cooperation in the Gas Sector,” held Thursday in Ashgabat, according to Turkmenistan’s official media.

The exhibition was viewed by Chinese Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang, a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee.

Ding praised Turkmen developments in robotics and efforts to build an artificial intelligence base in the Turkmen language.

According to the report, the project is considered one of the first AI solutions in Turkmenistan and could serve as a foundation for further development of the country’s robotics sector.

Aydyn Gijeler was established in 2016 with the support of Turkmenistan’s Ministry of Industry and Construction Production and specializes in high-tech manufacturing. The company has been steadily expanding cooperation with Chinese electronics manufacturers.
