Azerbaijan Imports Over 22.73 Thousand Tons of Turkmen AI-92 Gasoline

Turkmenistan exported more than 22.73 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline to Azerbaijan in January-August 2023, the Interfax-Azerbaijan news agency reported on Thursday with reference to the Azerbaijani State Statistics Committee.

The export of Turkmen gasoline to Azerbaijan for the corresponding period amounted to over $19.56 million.

Azerbaijan imported over 58.62 thousand tons of AI-92 gasoline for eight months of 2023, which is 70.5 percent less than in 2022.

The imports AI-92 of gasoline totalled over $54.1 million, a decrease of 75.8 percent compared to the corresponding period of 2022.

Turkmenistan accounted for most of the total Azerbaijani imports of AI-92 gasoline. The rest was imported from Lithuania (more than 20.94 thousand tons, equivalent to nearly $22.59 million) and Russia (more than 14.9 thousand tons, equivalent to nearly $12 million).
