The Kurgan region of Russia received 17,4 tons of washed Saraja and autumn sheep wool from Turkmenistan. From the Kurgan enterprise, the wool will subsequently be delivered to the Ivanovo region, where it will be used for the production of blankets. This is reported by Rosselkhoznadzor.

As established by the Office of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions, sheep wool from Turkmenistan meets quality certificates. According to the documents, the raw materials were subjected to a hot wash using a chemical preparation (soap-soda solution with caustic soda); the vehicle was treated and disinfected with a 1% solution of cypermethrin before loading.

As stated in the message, "the controlled cargo arrived in the Trans-Urals by road from the economic and administrative territories of the Republic of Turkmenistan, where no contagious diseases of animals and birds, including those dangerous to humans, have been registered."
