Carbamide production increased

The Garabogazkarbamid plant in the Balkan velayat successfully expands the production of carbamide fertilizers.In January-October, 2020, the enterprise produced about 900,000 tons of carbamide, using ammonia obtained from natural gas.

As compare to the same period of 2019, the production rate has increased twice.The most advanced facility is fully automated and equipped with Danish, Italian, Dutch and American technologies.

The favorable geographical location of the enterprise on the Caspian coast allows it to bring its products to world markets through both sea and rail links.

The plant replenished the production infrastructure of the chemical industry of the country in September 2018. The annual capacity of the enterprise is 1.155 million tons of carbamide.

Since its opening, the enterprise has already produced 1.381 million tons of concentrated nitrogen fertilizers, which were exported to agricultural producers in Bulgaria, Turkey, Romania, Spain and other countries.
