CIS Secretary General Lebedev was awarded the State Award of Kazakhstan - the Order “Dostyk” I degree

The CIS Secretary General Sergey Lebedev was awarded the State Award of the Republic of Kazakhstan - the “Dostyk” Order of the first degree, reports the official website of the CIS Executive Committee.

This high and honorary award was presented to Sergey Lebedev on Thursday by Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Murat Nurtleu during a working meeting in Samarkand. The award was presented on behalf of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of integration cooperation within the Commonwealth, as well as the topics of the upcoming meeting of the CIS Council of Foreign Ministers.

The “Dostyk” Order is awarded for fruitful work to maintain mutual harmony in society, merits in strengthening peace, friendship and cooperation between peoples.
