The International Organization for Migration (IOM) representative office in Ashgabat held methodological consultations on migration indicators for ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.
The event was held on May 20 at “Yyldyz” hotel in the capital city, the State Migration Service of the country reports.
The seminar was dedicated to the discussion of the international experience of migration data collection and indicators analyses, as well as modern methods of collecting and analyzing migration indicators.
The participants of the meeting expressed the wishes of the IOM to continue such activities to study best practices.
