Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” has found out that as a result of the gas explosion in the apartment building located in Ashgabat’s residential district 10 two people died and seven more sustained injuries.
Two inhabitants are in critical condition. Both were residing in the apartment, where the explosion hit. According to the news outlet Turkmen news, these are members of the Gamburtsev family.
The investigation is currently underway. According to preliminary reports, hand-made gas equipment had been installed in the apartment with gas leaks causing the explosion.
