Inspired by the large-scale transformations being carried out in the agricultural sector under the leadership of the President of Turkmenistan, tenant cotton growers in the Mary velayat are working diligently in the fields, striving to achieve high production results.
This year, high-yielding cotton varieties adapted to the region’s soil and climatic conditions were planted on 162,000 hectares in the Mary velayat.At present, fieldwork is proceeding in a well-coordinated manner, with farmers carrying out inter-row cultivation, the application of mineral fertilizers, and irrigation of the cotton fields.
In accordance with the President’s directive to actively involve entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector, the Mary Velayat Branch of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan is providing substantial support to businesspeople engaged in agricultural production.
Representatives of the Mary Velayat Committee of the Party of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan regularly visit entrepreneurs’ fields, organize meetings with agricultural workers directly at farming sites, encourage them to achieve new successes, and present gifts to outstanding performers.
They also conduct outreach activities to raise awareness of the government support measures and incentives available to entrepreneurs.During the meeting entitled "Rysgal berekediň we bolçulygyň mekany", organized to familiarize participants with the ongoing seasonal work on the region’s farmland, the dedicated efforts of agricultural workers were highly commended, and participants were presented with commemorative gifts.
In the International Year of "Independent Neutral Turkmenistan the Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses,"which marks the 35th anniversary of the Motherland's independence, these initiatives serve as an additional incentive for achieving even greater success in cultivating a rich harvest of the country's valuable raw material—"white gold."
