Croatia national football team reached the final of the League of Nation

Croatia beat the Netherlands after extra time in the semi-finals of the Nations League. The meeting, held in Rotterdam, ended with the score 4:2.

Andrej Kramaric (55th minute), Mario Pasalic (73), Bruno Petkovic (98) and Luka Modric (116, from the penalty spot) scored goals among the winners. The losers scored Donyell Malen (34) and Noah Lang (90+6).

Italy and Spain will play in the second semi-final on June 15. The meeting for the third place and the final will take place on June 18. The final stage of the League of Nations takes place in the Netherlands.

The current draw of the League of Nations is the third in history. The current winner of the tournament is the French team, which beat the Spanish team (2:1) in the final. The first draw of the tournament was won by Portugal.

In the 2022/23 Nations League season, the teams of 55 federations were divided into divisions in accordance with the ranking of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for national teams.

The purpose of this tournament is to replace the friendly matches of national teams with official games with equal opponents. The four group winners of the strongest division reached the final part of the League of Nations, who will compete for three out of 24 vouchers for Euro 2024.
