Public cultural and sport events have been held in the capital and velayats on occasion of National Turkmen Horse Holiday.Representatives of public organizations, establishments and facilities as well as students took part in sport actions.
In Ashgabat, cyclin grace has started at the monument builit in honour of the famous ahalteke horse Yanardag at the intersection of Koptdag Avenue and Andalib Street where numerous lovers of popular world sport were inspired by music and dances performed by art masters.
Climbing of students along the Path of Health, the unique walking route along the Kopetdag slopes has been started at the same time. 8-kilometer distance competition has been organized for young men and women.
The start of running baton race, which route run from the Ýanardag Monument along Kopetdag Avenue and Bekreve Street and finished at the building of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Training and Sports, has been given thereafter.
The distance of race was 20 kilometres; it was divided into 50 legs 400 meters each.Participants of the cycling race have finished at the same place, having ridden 20,000 meters and received powerful charge of energy and mass of joyful emotions, which sports has given to them.
Celebration atmosphere was added with performances of art collectives, singers and musicians.After, the winners of the competitions have been announced.All winners received gifts on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.
