Football referee from Italy Daniele Orsato was named the best referee of the last World Cup in Qatar, reports the website of the FIFA.
Orsato was awarded the Giulio Campanati International Prize.
At the last World Cup, the referee took part in three meetings: the opening match between Qatar and Ecuador, the second-round meeting between Argentina and Mexico, and the semifinal game between Argentina and Croatia.
The award for the best referee has been awarded since 2014.
